Hello,

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving !!

It's been a long time since I sat at my craft table. Today I was having a challenging time getting started. I wanted to start making more Christmas cards, but I needed some inspiration.  I decided to visit CASology blog to see this week's cue card. As soon as I read the cue card and looked at everyone's card, I got really excited for this challenge.  

This is my card, I like how the card came out. I did use some of the materials I bought on Black Friday:)

Our Summer 2013

Hello everyone, hope you had a wonderful summer!!

It's been a long time since I posted something :(  But it's been a busy summer for me, working, helping my sister with her wedding, having fun with my husband and puppies:)

We had the opportunity to do a few fun things this summer. We went horse back riding for the very first time!!! I got so nervous, when I was sitting on top of this three hundred pound horse. But after I relaxed and got comfortable, I had a great time going up the hill. I can't wait until the next time we go horse back riding again. It was an unforgettable experience and made some new wonderful memories with my husband.

Then we took an archery class and we loved it!!! In a few weeks we will be taking our second class.

We also went to the circus, it was wonderful seeing all the amazing acrobats!!

On August 31, 2013, my sister got married. It was such a beautiful wedding and my sister looked amazing!!! I want to wish them a life full of love and happiness.

I have been working on a few projects and will be posting them soon!!

Summer Card Class Week 2

Hello! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

I'm very happy that I had the chance to sit at my art and craft table to create. I made a few cards for the Online Card Classes Summer Card Camp 2.I'm very pleased to have registered to these classes, I have learned so much. I love the sketches and the color palette we had to use during these past three weeks. I'm very sad that the Summer Camp is coming to an end :(



For week two, I made these cards. I like how they turned out!!



For week two we had to make a circle card. This was challenging for but I did it!

This is another card that I made inspired by week's 2 sketches and color palette.

Summer Card Camp Class Day 1 and 2

Hello:)

Yesterday was day one for the Summer Card class. I'm learning so much:) I had some time yesterday to sit down at my art desk and tried some of the techniques.

Each week of class, there will be a new color combination for us to use for the first four days of the week. We have to use four out of the fives colors: White, Blue, Pink, Yellow, and Orange. We will also have three sketches to choose from. On Monday, I decided to create a card each sketch.

I love this fun and cute layout and fold.

I love this card and I was brave to create my own design paper ( Vertical Strip, I used ink and a flower stamp), I also  love this delicate butterfly.

I had a hard time today with the new techniques I learned today. I will hopefully try again tomorrow.

 A few days ago I registered to an Online Card Class with Kristina Wemer . Kristina is a very creative graphic designer. I been following her YouTube challenge for about three years, I have learned many technique from her. The class starts tomorrow, I'm ready to learn.

CAS on Sunday Challenge

Hello everyone:)  Hoping everyone had a restful weekend!!

This week's CAS on Sunday challenge is to create a one layer card. Doing a one layer card can be challenging for me, but I love how this card  turned out. For this challenge I finally had the chance to use  a set of stamps I have from Stampology called Family.

Happy Birthday Card and Retrosketches # 69 Challenge

Hello, this is my first post of the week:) 

This week's Retro sketches challenge inspired me to create this card. I had fun selecting the colors for this card because at Stamp Nation we are having a Summer Kick off Party, new challenges are presented to us this week. The first challenge of Summer Kick Off is  " The Colors of Summer." I love this design paper  that I used for this card, it just screams summer time to me.

As I'm always searching for new card layouts, I stumbled upon one of Dawn's recent youtube video were she teaches how to make a gift card. You add a packet to the inside of the card which allows you to add a gift card or money to the inside of the card, this so cool. I love it!!!

Pattern Design Technique and Gift Card Holders

Hello, hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!!

 Today I want to share with you this card that I created using five different design papers. A few months ago, I signed up to Kristina's Online Card Classes: Pattern Play,were she teaches many techniques on how to use and manipulate design paper. It was exciting learning a new way to use my pattern paper.

A few days ago I was searching for a fun and unique layout fora  gift card holder and I stumbled upon Kelly's card making youtube channel. She is amazing!!

Happy Birthday card and Retro Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone, hope you enjoyed your weekend!!

It's been a while since I posted something on my blog!! My mojo come back and with a three day weekend I had the opportunity to sit at my table to create :)

As I was searching for inspiration for a card, I went to Retro Sketch blog and this week's challenge inspired me to create this card. I like how this card come out. I was brave to use my sewing machine to add some stitching to this card. I'm in love with Recollections Garden Florals Paper Pad.
