Simply Watercolor Online Card Class

Hello,

I have been counting down the days until Kristina's Simply Watercolor Online Card Class which started today, YAY!! Even though I was excited for this class to start, I must confuse that watercolor is not my favorite media, it's a little scary. Once you make a mistake it's very challenging to mix it. I decided to be brave and explore with watercolor paint with the inspiration and guidance of Kristina's watercolor class.

I began by drawing the numbers by hand and added lines going across. The next step was to paint each area. I was being very careful, but to be honest with you I painted this numbers three times, as you have noticed the final result is completing different from my first photo. It's alright I had fun playing with watercolor. I think I'm starting to enjoy painting with watercolor. I'm so happy to have completed day one. I'm ready for day two so stay tuned for tomorrows project.

CAS(E) this sketch! Chanllenge

Hello!

I'm excited to share these cards today with you!

CAS(E) this sketch! inspired me to make these two cards using their current sketch. It was a bit rough at the beginning as it has been awhile since I participated in a challenge. But I love how these two cards turned out! Lately  I have been using a lot blues, turquoise, and gold on my cards, I just love the combination of these colors. I used stamps from Catherine Pooler Stamps of Approval kit, which I love very much.

CASology Challenge: Happy Birthday Card

Hello,

Today's card was inspired by CASology challenge cue card, stripes. This challenge gave me the chance to use my new candles4birthday stamp set  from Stamp of Life. This set come with a stripe of candles, which is so cute and perfect for this challenge!! For the front of the card I stamped the stripe of candles and  the Blow out the Candles message making them the focal point. Then I decided to add the Happy Birthday message in the inside of the card, but leaving enough space to write a message. Then I thought this card needed some bling, bling therefore I decided to add glitter on the candles. I had a challenging time with the glitter , yeah splashes of glitter landed all over my table. It was not pretty, but I'm so happy the glitter did not land on my card!

Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog, see you next time!!
