For my first posting, I want to share what I did this
past weekend. I have been having a hard time making birthday cards. I have been
searching for a fun and creative layout for birthday cards. When I think about birthday cards the first thing that comes to mind is fun, colorful, and a lot of balloons.
Catherine Pooler's Definitely Sketches, come to the rescue. She has a fabulous sketch that inspired me to create these birthday cards. These are my first birthday cards and I'm pleased with the final result.
I also added a fun simple detail in the inside of the card. I think birthday cards should have a playful colorful look. I guess I'm thinking more about birthday cards for children:)

It is hard to start at first, it's overwhelming. It took me a few hours to find my way around the layout. But just take one step at a time. I also used youtube to look for videos that guided me step by step on how to add things to the blog. Good luck my friend. If you have any question feel free to ask.
